Woolly Walks offers private sheep walking experiences in Clophill, near Bedford. You’ll meet your woolly walking companion, discover their individual personality and head out together for a relaxed countryside stroll – with plenty of time for strokes, cuddles and those all-important sheep selfies.

Yes, you really can walk a sheep!
Think dog walking… only woollier.
Your Woolly Walk lasts around an hour and begins with an introduction to the flock. Once you’ve met your walking companion, we’ll help you get acquainted before setting off together along our countryside route.
There’s no need to rush. Stop for photographs, give your sheep some attention and enjoy spending time outdoors with an animal you probably don’t get to meet every day.

Every Woolly Walk is private to your booking.
You won’t be added to a group of strangers, so you can enjoy the experience at your own pace with the people you’ve chosen to bring along.
Whether it’s a family day out, a birthday surprise, a date with a difference or simply an excuse to escape into the countryside for an hour, it’s your time with the flock.
Who can come on a Woolly Walk?
Pretty much everyone.
We welcome families, couples, friends, adults and children, childminders, schools, community groups and organisations.
We’re also passionate about making Woolly Walks as inclusive as possible. SEND visitors, their families and support networks are warmly welcomed, and accessible routes are available for wheelchair users.
If someone in your group has particular requirements, just have a chat with us before your visit and we’ll do our best to make the experience comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable.

All attendees, including adults, children and spectators, must have a booked ticket. If you would like to add extra people after making your booking, additional tickets may be available — please email us to check availability.
Children must be accompanied by an adult with a booked ticket.
New dates are released 90 days in advance, so please check back regularly for availability.
Woolly Walks reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone we feel may pose a risk to the welfare of the animals, other participants, or staff.
Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled if missed.
